Helloooo Taco Tuesday! I don’t know about you but this is my favorite day of the week (besides the weekend of course) because every week I get an excuse to celebrate Mexican food! We’re making this day even better by tossing in a little MARG action friends. This cranberry pomegranate margarita is the perfect combo of sweet and tart and all good things in between.
Tequila has always been my go-to alcohol. It’s legit the only one that doesn’t make me feel like death the next day. If I drink anything else it then results in having to eat lots of sugar the next morning cuz my body is ANGRY and all like “feed me gummy bears so I don’t pass out and make you sleep all day” so I like to stick to my favie, tequila, and a good ole cranberry pomegranate margarita so I can rise and shine and kick the days butt when I wake up. I’m not even really a big drinker (and by that I mean I’ve had like 5 drinks in the last 4 months) unless we’re talkin honeymoon time because we preeeeetty much lived on margaritas and guacamole for a week, but it was WORTH IT. You don’t go on a honeymoon unless you drink tequila for breakfast lunch and dinner. And then pass out at 9pm, cuz we’re W.I.L.D.
JK, that didn’t happen every night. But it did happen often…
I BLAME IT ON THE SUN!
But today, today I soak up taco tuesday by eating these zesty shrimp tacos with pineapple salsa and drinking my cranberry pomegranate margarita while watching the entire second season of fuller house. Because life is good and I love full house. Honestly, all I want her to do is choose Steve and she keeps dating Matt and it’s like COME ONE DEEJ choose the right one! It’s possible I need another margarita to deal.
